1. Klara, 1895-1990

born 1895 Mayville, Traill, North Dakota; married to Edward Riskedal

Klara traveled to the United States in 1926, together with Edward (who were already living in the US) and sister Secilia.

2. Johne, 1896-1933

born 13 November 1896 Mayville, Traill, North Dakota, US; married to Siri Våge. Johne died at sea in 1933.

The shop "S. Kilane" was run by Siri Kilane, married to Johne

3. Siri, 1898-1921

Siri passed away in February of 1921 of tuberculosis.

4. Øystine, 1899-1921

Øystine died in January 1921 by tuberculosis. Johan took home both the dead daughters on his boat from Hagavik, Norway.

5. Elen, 1901-1993

married to Anbjørn Marvik

Elen traveled to the United States in 1927

6. Secilia, f. 1902

married to Arthur Moe

Secilia traveled to the United States in 1926, together with sister Klara.

7. Martha, f. 1903

died of brain inflammation only 7 years old.

8. Øystein, 1906-1944

Øystein was in Chicago before the war, but returned home and died during his work at Ramsvik tuberculosis hospital in Stavanger 1944.

11. Magne, 1912-1996

married to Dorthea Hallvardsdtr Kommedal from Frafjord.

Magnus (or Magne) had the deed on Tånes, Londe, and in 1954, also on Midvåg. In 1952, they built by new storage on the family farm. They had a couple of dairy cows, chickens, some sheep, and pigs, and for a period, also some goats. Otherwise ,they did fruit growing and fishing, and Magne had shuttle of school kids with his motor boat. Dorthea was a nurse. The family moved in 1957/58 to the farm Litladal on Rennesøy. 12. Sigurd, 1915-1950

married to Karen Bøen

Sigurd was 20 years old and lived on his family farm when when his father became a widower in 1935. He is married Karen Bøen in 1946, the year his father Johan died. Karen and Sigurd got the deed in 1946. Karen and Sigurd had two children before he died of tuberculosis in 1950. He had then been sick for nearly 10 years. He was infected in his military service in 1939. Karen and the children moved from Kilane immediately after Sigurd died, but they returned and took the farm around 1954/55. Her father, a retired fisherman Edward Bøen, was a great help for her. (From Erfjord. Farms and People II).
